want to lose 20 pounds

Postby no1auntt on Wed Jun 22, 2005 8:40 am

Hi everyone. I'm new here and i want to lose about 20 lbs. I know it don't sound like a lot but i can't seem to do it. I'm 46 and had a total hysterectomy last year. I kept one ovary and take no HRT. I want to eat all time, have panic attacks and am extremely moody. I'm 5/9 and weigh 175. What can i do to lose these stubborn pounds? Is it the hyst. or my age slowing it down? I take synthyroid for low thyroid and just had it checked and it was fine

Hi

Not sure if you meant this for the Doctor's Forum or not but I will be glad to answer.

Your symptoms sound like peri-menopause. Weight issues are a definite during these years. I would suggest the following:

1) Natural Progesterone. The most natural and safest one that I have found is Oasis Serene. No toxic chemicals or excipients. (www.ghchealth.com)
2) Healthy Diet. I would recommend Dr. Group's e-book Balancing your Hormones Without Drugs...You Can Feel Good Again. It includes a very healthy diet and addresses balancing the hormones from a whole-body aspect. You can find this at www.ghchealth.com
3) Vitamin E (www.ghchealth.com)
4) B-Complex
5) Lithium Orotate
6) Quantum Greens (www.ghchealth.com)
7) Exercise - brisk 30 minute walk every day.

Work on physicial and emotional stresses every day.
