Almost 100% of diets fall flat on their faces. That doesn't stop Americans showering the weight loss industry with fistfuls of cash. And all that food is stored as fatty mass, and you can forget about muscles. Muscles are metabolically active tissues. All flab and no muscles equates to no outlet for the extra calories which turn into fat.  That explains the time old question of why some diets seem to leave the dieter with even more flabby rolls to conceal with baggy shirts than when the diet first started.

Low-carbohydrate, low-fat and low calorie diets are all the rage. However, because such diets prevent the intake of carbohydrates, and in many cases extreme limited intake of food, some diets produce more side effects than actual weight loss.

In the wake of traditional dieting failures, natural weight loss diets have surfaced to pick up where fad diets have fallen short. Natural Foods Diet

The Natural Foods Diet is one of the natural weight loss diets aimed at weeding out fat by getting rid of unnatural and processed foods. Under the National Foods Diet artificial sweeteners, hydrogenarated oils, milled grains and faux food coloring are on the "DO NOT EAT" list.

Raw Food Diet 

The Raw Food Diet is another of the natural weight loss diets that consists almost entirely of organic foods. Many Raw Food Dieters believe that the diet's been around for centuries. Raw foodists eat only raw foods. In fact, they won't touch anything that's been heated over 118 degrees Fahrenheit, although food freezing is fine.

Proponents of the Raw Food Diet believe that enjoying foods straight from the source curtails weight gain and promotes healthy living. To the Raw Foodist, processed foods have gotten too far away from their chemical structure of origin.
