Gugulipid® is a standardized extract prepared from the oleogum resin (gum resin) of Commiphora mukul, an Indian medicinal tree that has been clinically proven to reduce the levels of harmful serum lipids in the bloodstream. The active ingredients responsible for the maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels are the guggulsterones, specifically guggulsterone E and guggulsterone Z.

Benefits of Gugulipid

Centuries ago , gugulipid was used for weight loss. Although still used for these same purpose recently, clinical trails have shown its effectiveness in raising good cholesterol and reducing bad cholesterol . Besides that, it decreases triglycerides . This reduces the risk of heart diseases.

Things to be aware of before taking Gugulipid

Consult your doctor before taking gugulipid if you suffer from liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or diarrhea. Pregnant women should not take it.

When looking for Gugulipid, do not mistaken Guggul as the real product. A dangerous loss of appetite, stomach pain, diarrhea, and rashes could develop from guggul or guggulu. Gugulipid, on the other hand, has been refined to contain only the active ingredients without the toxins. In rare cases, however, even gugulipid may cause side effects such as mild nausea, gas, diarrhea, hiccups, restlessness, anxiety, or headaches.
