Easy Weight Loss

Most weight loss plans demand a complex array of rules be followed: foods you can't eat and behaviors you must change. But sometimes these rules just don't fit into real life. If you want to lose weight, but are having trouble finding a weight loss plan that works for you, these easy weight loss strategies may be just what you’ve been looking for.
- Switch from Soda to Water: Soft drinks are one of the leading causes of obesity in both children and adults. Just one can of soda adds an extra 150 calories and forty grams of sugar to your diet. A fast-food sized soda can add as much as 600 extra calories and 140 grams of sugar. It’s best to skip the soda altogether and opt for good clean purified water. And if you think drinking the “diet” version of your favorite soda makes things better, think again. The artificial sweeteners used in these drinks are, in my opinion, probably even more dangerous than the sugar or high fructose corn syrup used in their counterparts.
Slow Down: One of the easiest ways to eat less and lose weight is to simply slow down while you eat, and chew your food well before swallowing. Without even realizing it, we consume huge portions of food, because we eat too quickly to think about it. Make an effort to slow down while you eat. Chew each bite 25 times and swallow it before you pick up your food or your fork again. You'll probably find that slowing down not only helps you to eat less, but also enjoy your food more.
- Scratch the Salt: Salt and fat often go hand in hand. And our addiction to salt often makes us crave more fattening foods. Most of us just eat too much salt anyhow. According to the US Food and Nutrition Board, we only need about 500 milligrams of salt each day in order to maintain the normal water balance in the body and regulate the rhythms of the heart. Five hundred milligrams works out to about a tenth of a teaspoon. Cutting back on your cravings for salt will help you cut back on the fattening foods you consume as well. Make small changes at first by skipping the saltshaker at the dinner table or using herbs, spices, or salt alternatives instead. And be sure to use organic sea salt for cooking.
Eat More (Fiber That Is): So often, weight loss plans focus on eating less, but they fail to point out the foods that you should fill upon. High-fiber foods help to fill you up and keep you feeling full longer, (so you'll be less likely to crash and reach for that candy bar). Fiber also helps the digestive system run more efficiently and stabilizes your blood sugar. Certain complex fibers, like those found in fruits and vegetables, also have a calorie curbing effect. They stimulate the digestive system and push foods through more quickly and prevent the absorption of all of the calories and fat in the foods you eat. So, rather than worry about the foods you shouldn’t eat, think about the foods you should. High-fiber, complex foods like beans, lentils, fruits, vegetables and whole grains are a great part of any easy weight loss plan.
- Ask For Help: If you truly want to lose weight, get your friends and family involved in helping you out. There are plenty of things that they can do to make your weight loss easier. Try the product Slimirex™ which contains proven patented ingredients. Get your kids to put away the leftovers in the evening and scrape the plates into the garbage can after dinner. This can help prevent the mindless eating that occurs as you are cleaning up the dishes.
Go Shopping: One of the best ways to cut back on extra fat in your foods is to cook them without extra butter and oil. Invest in some good no-stick pans and other low-fat cooking gadgets like a vegetable steamer or a rice cooker to help you cook delicious, nutritious foods without the extra fat.
- Use Plates: Don't eat any foods from its original package. If you decide to have a snack in the evening, put it in a bowl or on a plate. Never eat chips straight from the bag. Even if its fast food, make it a rule to put it on a plate and eat it at table. This also helps to curb mindless eating that can occur if you have an endless supply of food in front of you.
